There’s nothing like a Fall Central Park wedding. The leaves are changing and the temperature is nice and crisp. Not too hot and not too cold. One thing I always tell brides is that if they are going to be walking around outside in New York City, their dress is going to get dirty. I do my best to help mitigate that with some tricks I know. As a professional wedding photographer of more than twenty years, I know a thing or two.
It’s always a concern in the back of my head that something will happen to the dress. Then, for this particular wedding, my client told me that she’s having her friend design her wedding dress.
And we are talking about a full on couture wedding dress. Her friend happens to be designer Bach Mai and the dress is absolutely stunning. Don’t believe me? Take a look at the photos.

And you know that made sure to check the stairs at Bethesda Terrace to make sure there wasn’t anything atrocious that was going to ruin her dress.
Crowds normally gather and watch when there is a wedding taking place in the city, but in this particular instance, everyone stopped because this dress is just so phenomenal. No one was more stunned than the groom…

After the ceremony and the portraits, the couple and their crew convened to The Ribbon, a local restaurant a block from the park, to relax and celebrate with their guests. If you ever go there, I highly recommend the fried chicken.

Whether you are wearing a couture wedding dress or not, you can rest assured that I will be doing everything in my power to ensure you are relaxed, have amazing wedding photos, and your outfit doesnt get ruined.
