I love working with nerds! This lovely couple is no exception. While we walked around Gantry State Park in Long Island City (LIC) for their engagement session, we talked about Star Wars, Harry Potter, and lots of other nerdy topics. But most importantly, we talked about them!

Getting to know my clients gives me a better insight into how to work with them. Each couple is unique in the way they interact with each other, what is important to them, and what they need to feel relaxed on camera.
And that is what is most important to me: that you feel relaxed and comfortable to be yourselves during our shoot or on your wedding day. That way, I know I am capturing authentic emotions and moments.
What do you think of this Long Island City (LIC) waterfront engagement session?
I lived near Long Island City for nearly 20 years and, trust me, you would not have wanted to do an engagement photo session there when I first saw it. The amount of change the area has gone through, even in the last 5 years, is pretty incredible.
The waterfront along the river from the Pepsi sign to the Brooklyn border is stunning and you can walk for literally miles finding great spots for pictures. I know because we did it that day! Definitely got my steps in.
