When I booked this New York City elopement, I had NO IDEA just how stylish this couple was going to be. As an NYC elopement photographer, it is common that when couples come from other parts of the world that you won’t have a long relationship with the couple. That was certainly the case here as they had only booked me a month or so prior to the wedding.
I walked into their hotel room overlooking Central Park and I was just blown away by their sense of fashion. We had only communicated briefly via email before they flew over from Italy, and we hadn’t had a lot of opportunities to discuss their aesthetic.
But in that moment I knew exactly how to capture their elopement photos. From their getting ready photos at the hotel to the ceremony outside the main branch of the New York Public Library on 5th Avenue, to portraits in Grand Central Station, outside the Plaza Hotel and Tiffany’s; I immediately knew what type of photos they wanted.

So what do you think of this amazing New York City elopement? Isn’t this couple incredibly stylish? I don’t think I will ever look that fashionable…or at least I won’t make it look as effortless as they do!
