Today’s throwback involves one of my favorite same sex engagement photos.
Joey and Ted’s engagement session started out with much more provocative attire, with both of them wearing their military uniforms in Times Square. But when they changed into more comfortable, casual clothes, and we moved to Central Park, the photos took on a ‘softer’ feeling. It was much more about their relationship with one another.
I wonder sometimes if my advocacy for marriage equality or my being a ‘gay friendly’ wedding photographer is not apparent enough.
I say that because occasionally I am still asked whether or not I “do” these types of weddings. YES! Absolutely. I don’t put labels on it. Love is love!
