As an engagement photographer, I get to work with lots of couples at the height of love. We’re taking pictures before the wedding day, with a lot less stress involved.
When I got home from taking the photo below, my wife saw the pictures from this engagement session, and she turned to me and said, “So these people are models?”
No, they’re not models. They’re just really good people who were great to work with and the camera loved them.
The photo above, “I See You” was recently given a Diamond Award from the Wedding Photojournalist Association for excellence in engagement photography.
I feel like the recognition is as much for the love my clients have for each other as it is for my abilities as an engagement photographer, because that is what I’m capturing.
