There is something magical about New York City in the Fall. While you might think that there are better places to enjoy the foliage, there are places in NYC that have beautiful displays of the leaves as they change colors.
So, when Suzanne and Ilya told me they wanted to do their engagement session in Fort Tryon Park up by the Cloisters…IN THE FALL…I was very excited!
The location has incredible vistas of the Hudson River, beautiful paths with trees and archways. I think it is an underrated New York City park, but not by people who have been there!
It is just a bit of a hike uptown to get to it, and most people are happy with sticking to the middle of Manhattan and Central Park. But, if you have the time, and the inclination…Fort Tryon Park is absolutely gorgeous!!!
Oh, and the folks at the Cloisters are very, very serious about you not taking pictures in front of the building unless you have a permit. Security will come after you…
I’m not joking!
Want to do your engagement photos this Fall in New York City? It’s beautiful, but my availability is limited..supply and demand, folks. So get in touch with me today!
In the meantime, I’ll be getting ready for Suzanne and Ilya’s wedding this weekend!
