I want everyone to have great photos.

I mean it.

Not just my clients – EVERYONE!

I’ve taught seminars and classes and coached other photographers. I’ve written reviews of gear that I use, and tips for other photographers to take better photos and serve their clients better.

But all of that seems out of place here.

You’re getting married (or you’re a photographer and you’re secretly stalking my blog – and, if you are, that’s okay!) and you don’t want to read a bunch of articles about cameras and running a photography business.

Unless you’re a photographer…in which case…YOU DO!

Well, this idea has been distilling in my brain for a long time.

And now, I finally decided what to do with it!

Yogi Berra once said, “When you come to a fork in the road…take it!”

I’m taking that advice. I am ‘forking’ the parts of my blog that I used to write for photographers into a new website – The Nerdy Photographer.

Feel free to head over to the site and check it out. Right now it is taking its baby steps. You can also follow along on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

With this site, I hope to instruct photographers not only on the technical issues of equipment and taking photos, but also how to improve the experience for themselves and their clients. That way, everyone  wins!

(Thanks, Gary…)

What it comes down to is this: I am part of two great communities – the wedding world, and the photography world. I can serve them both.
