Prospect Park Engagement: Elizabeth + John

We saw it the moment we walked out of Prospect Park, and we knew we had to take a picture with it. It spoke to all three of us. It had to happen.

This is why I tell couples that when we plan an engagement session to go with the flow when we get there. We might plan out some locations, but sometimes a moment just pops up out of nowhere and you have to capture it.

You might plan on taking some photos at the Brooklyn Library and then taking a leisurely stroll through Prospect Park, but you never know what that time may have in store. There might be a hidden gem waiting for you along the way.

All I’m saying is never turn down an opportunity when it presents itself.

You may decide to reenact the “I’m flying, Jack!” scene from Titanic on a whim – and I am all for that!

You might also come across a snowman with jalapenos for eyes and a kiwi for a mouth.

No…seriously! You might. We did.

And it ended up on their ‘save the date’ cards.

Because it was just that awesome.

If you happen to know anything about the origins of this amazing snow man, you should leave that info in the comment section. I am sure everyone would like to know more. And if you’re getting married and want to do some engagement photos in Brooklyn, get in touch! I’d love to hear from you.
