Last week I did my final wedding of 2015. Everyone asks if this is my ‘slow season’ since there are not as many weddings. Yes, I do shift into a different gear during the Winter months, but rather than being ‘slow’, my time is usually filled with engagement sessions and meetings with potential clients about weddings for the coming year. This year has been rough from a personal point of view, losing several friends and our beloved dog, Tyler. So, finishing off 2015 with a beautiful, intimate, highly emotional ceremony was just the thing I needed.
I am not afraid to admit that I got choked up several times during Alan and Hilary’s ceremony at Brooklyn Botanic Garden.
“Tying the knot…”
Kilts? Yes, please!
Time to kick up our heels and celebrate!
Thank you, Alan and Hilary, for having me be a part of this amazing ceremony. And many thanks to Reverend Annie Lawrence for recommending me to this amazing couple. Happy holidays, everyone! See you in 2016!
