While I was photographing this Fall engagement session at Grand Central Station in NYC, something strange happened.
It is not unusual for people to stop and ask couples what they are getting their photos taken for during an engagement session. While I was photographing Rachel and Anthony in Grand Central Station for their engagement photos, we had a more unusual request.

While we were taking these photos with the clock in the background, a film crew shooting a commercial approached them and asked if they would be okay with their likenesses being in the commercial!

Exciting stuff, but if someone does approach you about that sort of thing you need to read the release carefully and find out what your image is being used for and whether or not you will be compensated. This is not the first time this has happened to a couple I was working with! A while back, a couple I was photographing were stopped in Times Square and video of them was used in a car commercial.
You have to read the fine print!

After Grand Central, we moved up to Central Park. The park in the Fall is just so gorgeous.
