Man, that song still gets me so AMPED!!!! I just want to go out and…wait, I was talking about something else. Oh, right…

Something stirred in me recently. A desire to get back to my photographic roots. So, I went through my storage boxes and found my old film cameras.

These were my first ‘real’ cameras – and unbeknownst to me, at the time, I had really great lenses. It took a little bit of time to get used to shooting film again, but Tyler was happy to model for me.

It took a little while to get myself to not ‘chimp’ and look at the back of the camera after taking pictures to see how it came out. And the anticipation of seeing the photos once they are developed was as thrilling as ever. In a world filled with instant gratification, sometimes it is nice to wait for something to be ready. After getting my ‘film legs’ back under me, I decided to take my camera and a roll of film to a couple of weddings…
