Liberty Warehouse is one of my favorite wedding venues. This industrial Brooklyn space sports great views of the lower Manhattan skyline and the Stature of Liberty. I’ve worked their on many occasions and learned how to navigate the building’s idiosyncrasies. This particular Brooklyn wedding at Liberty Warehouse felt, despite a lot of hard work all around, effortless.
Why? Emily and John were amazing to work with. Truly! They managed so many details and elements of their wedding without a planner AND were constant sources of positive energy. Usually, I do a lot of work helping people feel relaxed and comfortable on camera, but they were doing a lot to help everyone feel more chill with their own attitudes about the day.
No stress. No tension. Just joy.
And finally…all of the details! Seriously, if you don’t like wedding detail photos, you might just want to start scrolling down for a bit…
And if you want to see the video from this incredible Brooklyn wedding, just skip all the way to the bottom…
Ombre escort cards! BRILLIANT!
Oh, a lovely little vintage book with their names and wedding date on it…
And the rings are inside! Too adorable…
Vintage bicycle themed cufflinks for John…
I love the idea of a ‘time capsule’ for the wedding couple to be opened on their one year anniversary!
A custom handkerchief for Emily’s dad – and custom cufflinks for both dads which say “Father of the Bride” and “Father of the Groom” respectively…
Time for the ceremony!
I love photographing weddings at Liberty Warehouse – the views are amazing!
Okay, just a few more detail shots before the reception…
Off to the party!
The crowd was having a great time on the dance floor…these two in particular…
Thank you, Emily and John! It was truly a pleasure to be a part of your wedding.
All the love and joy, and all of those amazing details got this wedding featured on Style Me Pretty as well!
