While working with Utterly Engaged and Bella Bridesmaid on covering Bridal Market 2011, they expressed an interest in having some ‘behind the scenes’ photos using my cell phone. I love my iPhone. It is my ‘walking around’ camera. It is kind of ridiculous when I think about it. My phone now has twice the resolution of my first professional digital camera. What a world…

It is the first time I have been asked to use my camera phone as part of a professional job and given what my clients were looking for, I decided to bust out my trusty Hipstamatic app. (If you are unfamiliar with Hipstamatic, check out their website.) And here are a few of the shots I got:

The only drawback to Hipstamatic is that all of the photos come out square and for what my clients were looking for I needed some ‘full frame’ shots, so I went to Banana Camera Co.’s “Cross Process” app (more information here) to get these pictures:

I’m still getting over the fact that I am shooting print quality shots with my cell phone. Crazy, right?

This is definitely pretty awesome, you got some great shots. I was impressed when I realized I can use my iPhone shots for scrapbooking, you took it 20x further, awesome.
