I had a great time photographing Anny and Chien’s wedding – it was certainly one of the most interesting days I have ever had: Early morning getting ready, quests/tasks for the groom to complete, two tea ceremonies, a “first of its kind in the U.S.” Buddhist wedding ceremony at the Queens County Farm Museum, followed by sparklers, completely vegan catering and barn dancing!
Enough of my yappin’, check out the pictures.
The waiting is the hardest part…
After completing three tasks, Chien was allowed to enter the apartment for the tea ceremony.
I absolutely love this silhoutted shot of Chien lifting Anny’s veil.
On to the ceremony…
The Dharma Master performing the ceremony.
The Queens County Farm Museum gave us some great opportunities for portraits. Anny had to get on the tractor!
Now run off to the reception!
I love sparklers.
I don’t know what this dance was, but it was certainly entertaining – and Anny got quite a kick out of it!
Third and final dress of the evening…
Check out the purple cowboy boots – adorable!
Now it’s time for some barn dancing!
