Below is some basic information that covers what I believe to be most of the topics clients have questions about. However, you should never hesitate to contact me if you have a question.

What is your style?

To quote Ferris Bueller quoting John Lennon, “I don’t believe in ‘isms’ – I just believe in me.” When photographing a wedding or event, I try to capture emotions, as they happen, without influencing them – some people call that photojournalism, ‘lifestyle’ – I try to go for timeless. When I am shooting portraits, I do everything from candid natural light photos to fashion-inspired, dramatically lit shots. If the photos you see speak to you, then it is your style of photography.

Do you photograph things other than weddings?

Yes, I photograph all sorts of events, from Bar Mitzvahs to corporate functions. I also do a wide range of portraits. At this time, I am focusing primarily on weddings. If you are interested in booking me for another type of work, feel free to contact me and we can discuss your project.

How do I book you?

Contact me via the link in the menu bar or by phone at 212.875.7599 I require an initial investment of at least one third of your balance and a signed agreement to reserve a date.The remaining balance is due 10 business days before the event date.

Do you work with an assistant/2nd photographer?

I do not have to. However, if you would like more coverage or if your wedding has a large number of guests, you can add a second photographer. All of my associate photographers have years of experience in the wedding photography industry and their styles compliment my own.

How long will it take for me to see my photos?

2-3 days – a few teaser images posted to Facebook
2-3 weeks – high resolution images are posted to your online gallery, where you can download them and make your own prints or share with friends/family
2-3 months from your order – album arrives.

How many pictures will I receive?

A good rule of thumb is approximately 100 photos per hour, so an 8 hour wedding will yield approximately 750-800 photos after editing.

I color correct / exposure correct / color balance all of the images. Afterwards, I edit/hand-detail my favorites as well as whatever images are chosen for albums or prints.

Do you have insurance?

I am fully insured and am happy to provide a certificate of insurance.

Do you travel?

Yes, I am based in New York City, but I am available for travel around the world to cover events.

For weddings more than 50 miles from New York City, I require a travel fee – please inquire for details.

Do you provide albums?

Albums are not included in my standard packages, since everyone may want a different type of album. I offer two styles of albums from some of the world’s finest book makers:

  • ‘traditional’ inlaid matted albums (sizes up to 12×12)
  • ‘modern’ coffee-table style books (sizes up to 12×16)

All images chosen for albums are edited / retouched / hand-detailed.

We want prints of our photos, do you do that?

I provide all clients with hi-resolution full-sized digital negatives. I give you permission to print from these digital images but you can also order retouched, hand-detailed prints from me.
