People often ask me, “Do you travel for weddings?” YES! I love to travel. So I was thrilled to head out to Napa in California for Pat and Erica’s vineyard wedding. And let me tell you, it was quite a shindig!
Time for Pat and Erica to do their “first look”….
Flower…lots of flowers!
A little hairstyle change for the ceremony…
After the ceremony, I whisked them away in the golf cart for a few casual portraits.
Keep an eye out for those boots. I’m serious! But first, let’s go to the dinner tent.
Old family photos greeted guests as they arrived for dinner. One table for the bride’s family – another for the groom’s.
The florist created 18 unique centerpieces!
Pure, unadulterated emotion. I love it!
I told you the boots would show up again.
After dinner, guests walked (or took the shuttle bus) down to the reception barn, which was made up like a speakeasy. One word – SAZERAC!
If you need a getaway car, this vintage Packard will suit nicely!
I have to say, you have some nice sunsets California! Now let’s take a closer look at that barn decor…
Topped off by cake inspired by a photo Erica and Pat saw of a floor covered in pennies.
Now it is time to party!
Thank you, Erica and Pat, for having me there to document this amazing event. I look forward to getting back to California for more weddings!
