With the weather we are having today and the wedding I am shooting tomorrow, I was reminded of Nikki and Ben’s rainy day wedding in New Jersey.
Nikki and Ben chose a great date to get married – my birthday! This was the first kilt wedding of the year, but there was so much more to it. The details – OH, the details! For one, check out those flowers…

I remember saying to my second photographer, Angel, “It’s got to stop raining at some point…”

But it didn’t…

I called this kid Teddy Roosevelt because of that big cheeky smile.

And now for some details – how about these hand stamped escort cards?

A vintage typewriter next to the centerpiece? How about a vintage fire extinguisher?

The details were so great they even got published over on Savvy Deets Bridal – check it out for more pictures including the awesome signing tree.

Did someone say “dance off”? Yeah, that happened…

Utilikilt even made an appearance!

And a horsehoe – for good luck!
